Starting in 2008 NJAC will hold a monthly lecture series at the Hunterdon County Extension Service, 6 Gaunt Place, Bldg #2, Lower Level, Flemington, NJ 08822.

The lecture series meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, except for February and November, when due to holidays, it will be held on the 2nd Wednesday.

Doors will open at 7pm. Please check specific dates in the events calendar for more information on the schedule of events.

Dr. Rachael Gardner from Furlong and Associates will be speaking at the meeting.  Her topic will be "Care of the Neonatal Cria... And What To Do When Things Don't Go As Planned".

The speaker will be Robert Mickel, Hunterdon County Agricultural Agent and Regional Livestock Agent.  He will discuss the varities/types of hay, pros & cons with general recommendations. The seminar will basically cover everything you always wanted to know about hay. Q/A period will follow - so bring your questions.
